Politicians cannot
win. There is always another neo-con waiting in
the wings with a pad and pencil, ready to turn any innocent
statement into something completely the opposite. Here are two variations of the theme where Al Gore,
a devout Christian, is accused of trashing Christianity:

You have to love the creativity of the neo-cons; both "quotes" are
pure fabrication. The comments attributed to Gore are so out there
I can't even point to a true statement to disprove them. At NO time did Al Gore
ever write or utter these words. |
